USB DAQ error after updating to DAQ 15.1

Solved!
Go to solution

Everything was working well (DAQ 9.5) on my windows XP SP3 machine, so I thought it's a good idea to install the latest NI DAQ 15.1, now my USB DAQ has a red cross in NI MAX and does not work 😞

I tried re-installing NI DAQ 15.1, Rebooted PC, plugged the NIDAQ in and out, but the error remains.

Any ideas how to resolve this ?

Hello morngoose,

First I recommend exporting your current MAX configuration:

Then it sounds like you need to reset your MAX Configuration data, detailed in the following KB:

Reset your system after these steps and that will hopefully work for you.

Thank you for the info. I tried the above, and un-installing and re-installing everything, but in the end the only thing that fixed the issue was to install a fresh copy of the OS, windows XP in this case.
