USB-6251 and SC-2345: Accessing DIO Port 2

I am using a USB-6251 (mass term) with a SC-2345. I would like to use DIO Port 2. The pinouts diagram for the 6251 shows pins 37, 3, 45, 46, 2, 40, 1 and 39 correspond to lines 0 - 7, respectively. However, the pinouts for the Terminal Block I/O connector diagram for the SC-2345 shows pin 39 as D GND.

When I go into the test panel for the 6251 and turn P2.7 to high, I see no change when referencing a ground pin (e.g. 53). However, I see conductance between pins 39 and 53, with the 6251 both connected and not.

How can I use Port 2/Line 7 (pin 39) from the USB-6251?

Thanks!

Most pins on the SC-2345 will map to the E/M Series cards, but some will not. For example, pin 39 is a PFI pin for some of the M series DAQ cards but pin 39 on the SC-2345 is a D GND (Digital Ground). The D GNDs of terminal block B are internally shorted together.

Does this mean I can't use pin 39 (Port2/Line7)?

Also, is there a schematic for the 2345?

Thanks!

i don't think you could use pin 39.

the schematic for 2345 can be found here.
