I am showing my college son LabVIEW and trying to spark his interest in using it for a career choice. I am using LabVIEW 2009 on my home computer, running windows xp, and interfacing it to a USB-6211 DAQ system. The problem is that LabVIEW will not recognize the 6211 but MAX recognizes the USB-6211 perfect.
Using MAX, I can see the USB-6211, open the test panel and turn LED's on and off using one of the digital I/O ports. However, LabVIEW 2009 does not see the USB-6211 and when I select the DAQ Assistant control in the block diagram, my computer locks up. Is there a simple fix or do I have to reload LabVIEW 2009?
