During the installation of my USB-6009 hardware, I've encountered a problem:
After installing NI-DAQ (8.0, on the CD that came with the hardware), I restarted the PC & plugged in the USB-attached part. A "Found new hardware window USB-6009" popped up. Then, after a very brief time, a second window pops up :
"Digital signature not found <saying something about the software hasn't been verified to work with windows etc. > The final question is posed: Do you want to continue with the installation? If I click either Yes, or No, I get the same error:
Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard USB-6009. An error occured during the installation of the device. The form specified for the subject is not one supported or known by the specified trust provider. There's one button- Finish. If I click it, the procedure repeats infinitely.
The hardware is showing up in Windows 2000 Hardware Device manager & also shows in Measurement and Automation Explorer. In the latter, the serial number is N/A, and I can't run a successful diagnostic test on the device.
Suggestions? I've tried installing the newest NIDAQ 8.1 from the web site, but am still getting the same error. A colleague has also installed on his laptop and is getting identical errors!
