A customer of ours is getting a "Timestamps have been overwritten" which means that computer is not keeping up with reading data from the PCI-5114's circular buffer, and so data is being overwritten in this by the PCI-5114 DMA before it is read.
This error has appeared in our development lab from time to time. Always in the past it was solved by rebooting the computer. It appeared to be caused by the computer having been run for many weeks before reboot. But reboot is not working for our customer. This error is appearing not just in the LabVIEW based software we provide, but also when the board is tested in MAX.
I suspect a hardware fault in either the customer's computer, or the PCI-5114. Suggestions as to other causes, and cures, would be much appreciated.
