The warming of the MITE-AQ chip

Hi all,
In have tried recently to put in the PCI-DIO-96 board and PCI-GPIB in
PC. Previously this boards were installed in Mac and worked well. In
both cases the MITE-AQ chip starts warming a lot after power is switched
on.
The boards are recognized by software(Linux in fact) and drivers
installed and works without errors, however there is no response from
board I mean no output signal. I am curious if there are some mistakes
in bios settings of PCI slots, IRQ etc. By the way I found that for
PCI-DIO-96 no difference between GND and +5V chanells, both are +5V
relative to computer body.
If you have any suggestions, pls write me.
Best regards,
Mikhail Pachkov.

Hey!
I have checked it again! They are hot like hell even in Mac! P
erhaps the
way chips work.
However the old question remains why I can not use them under Linux?
Best wishes,
