Temperature control using NI 9263

Hi,

I am using analog voltage output module NI 9263 and input module NI 9220. i have to control the temperatue of resistance (10 K ohm).  if any one have any idea.

If you want to use the 10k resistor as a temperature sensor and for heating  (flow sensor? )  you need to  measure the current and the voltage at this resistor.

You can supply 10V 1mA with your 9263 which is just enough for the 10k, but how do you want to measure the current?

Time constant(s)?

resolution/error ?

temperature coefficient?

So please explain what you want to do in more detail.

Guten Morgen,

Thanks for your reply. I donot want to measure a current. My main task is to control the temperature of a Resitance i.e 10 Kohm. In this we have voltage 10 V, Current 1A.

If you understand this please tell me.

How do you measure the temperature?

and your 9263 will give you 1mA not 1A 😉

 Simple regulator:

temp to low:  increase voltage

temp in boundary : never change a running system

temp to high: decrease voltage

problem solved 😄

Spoiler
if you think that answer is too simple...  well, reread your question.....   if you provide more information, a better answer migth be possible.
