Synchronize a DO trough a 6534 board with an AI trough a 6115 card

What is the better mean to synchronize a 6534 board (Digital output, master card) and a 6115 board (analog input, slave card) trough the RSTI cable.
In the help, I see that two different VI may be useful: RTSI Control and Route Config.
Is it possible to do the job with only RTSI control set for the 2 cards?

I do not own the card yet and have to know if they can be easely synchronized before buying them !!

Hello;

The can definitely be easily synchronized through the RTSI bus.

To accomplish that task you need to make a call to RTSI Control.vi which will route the clock of the 6534 board to one of the RTSI lines, and also make a call to Route Signal.vi which will route that same RTSI line you routed before to be the Scan Clock signal of the 6115 board.

The difference in between those two VIs is only the fact that the RTSI Control.vi is used withthe digital boards only and the Route Signal.vi is used with the MIO boards only, but their functionality is pretty much the same.
