Hi all
I am using NI cDAQ9188 with 03 NI 9205 modules. One thing i want to clarify is whether cDAQ9188 will provide synchronization among three ni 9205 modules or some other device also require for this purpose?
Does NI DAQMAX software provides some indication whether these three modules fitted on cDAQ are operating on same clock (synchronized) or independentaly?
Best Regards

Dear apok
Thanks for reply. You mean cDAQ9188 provides synchronization among NI 9205 modules and no other device is needed for this purpose?
Best Regards

Assuming that you have the 3 9205s in a single 9188 chassis:
If you configure a single task with each of your 3 9205s included in it, DAQmx will synchronize the modules for you.
If you make 3 separate tasks (which is actually possible on the 9188 which has up to 3 analog input timing engines), they would not be synchronized automatically (you could still make the routes yourself, but this would just add complexity to your application compared to putting all 3 modules into a single task).
