Stopping counter puls generation with digital trigger

Hi,

is there an easy way to Stop the pulse generation from
the DAQmxCreateCOPulseCharFreq function by an external
digital trigger signal?
I am aware of the possibility to use an Pause trigger to interrupt the generation on a digital trigger but this does not stop the task.
The application is to run a stepper motor until the motor generates an TTL level signaling that it's maximum range has been reached. Is there a better approach to this task?

Hello,

you can use the Stop Task function.

It isn't described in the tutorials below but it is mentioned in the second tutorial.
