Good morning,
I would appreciate any help with this issue as I'm new to the DAQ/load cell world.
I'm attempting to measure voltage from a LCGB-10K load cell using a 6002 DAQ and a DMD4059 amplifier. The voltage reading has regular thick spikes as shown below.
I've tried shielding the load cell wire but it didn't help. My other theory is this is caused by the switching power supply PSS24-050.
Are these spikes indicative of any issue I need to consider? What may be causing this?

Hi cyorke01,
Have you taken an FFT on the measurement? That might give some clues. Does it change with sample rate?
Do you have a wiring diagram you can share of how you're hooking everything up together?

Thank you for your reply! The following screenshot is that of the voltage and FFT graphs with an increased sampling rate.
Also, this is the most detailed wiring diagram I have on hand. However, I can create a more detailed & legitimate one if needed.
