Sharing clock and trigger signal between NI PCIe/PXIe-6361 and NI 5160

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi everyone, my name is Jorge. Currently, I'm working on a PXI 1071 (4 slots) with Labview 2014 SP1 in which I have a NI 5160 (ADC) and a NI PCIe/PXIe-6361. My goal is to connect a clock signal of 10 MHz and a 1 PPS signal to the NI PCIe/PXIe-6361 and be used by this card and the NI 5160. I've been trying so far to read how to route signals from one to another, but I have an Error -89136: Specified route cannot be satisfied, because the hardware does not support it.

Can anyone help me with any procedure to do this?

Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Jorge Gomez

Hi jlgomez1989,

The error occurs when you are trying to route a signal between two pins that cannot internally connect in the device. You'll have to check the internal routes of your device to make sure the path you are trying to use is available. See the links below for more information:
