I am currently trying ot write an application that
will sample several channels from a PCI-1200 board
around 1kHz in addition to taking readings from a
high speed serial port (a separate serial card) at
the same acquizition rate. I am not a power user
and so would appreciate any help you could
provide. Essentially, I am thinking that I must
perform single smaples (not buffered) and scan
through the channels on the DAQ card then switch
to a serial read and then back. The information
from the serial card must be acquired a nearly the
same time as the other signals. How would you do
this? How would you dothis at the sampling rate
of 1,000. I think I could set an occurrence, but
this only works for up to about 500 Hz or so
.
