Repetitively triggered AO

Solved!
Go to solution

I have a train of TTL pulses (30ms long, 2 ms apart) coming in. Triggered by this signal, I would like to alternate an AO between 2V and 0V: One DI pulse should put out 2V, the next 0V, ...

I found an example on how to trigger an AO waveform but I cannot retrigger it. I know the exact length of the pulses, I just want to use the rising edge to start the AO signal. I guess I am looking for the functionality of a counter for an analog output.

I have a PCI-6733 and Labview 8.5.1. The two counters on the board are already in use but I could free one if that helps.

Thanks for any suggestion!

From the above behavior it seems the input DI pulse is a Sample Clock signal and not a trigger.

Thanks! I just tried 'Cont Gen Voltage Wfm-Ext Clk.vi' which seems to get the job done! I did not know about the Sample Clock...
