I am trying to output 8 digital waveforms to various devices and I want this output to be synced with an analog output with roughly 1 ms resolution. I was testing the ability of the PCI-6251 to output finite digital samples but I seem to run into a problem. Whenever I run the example VI "Digital - Finite Output" the DAQmx task never indicates that the task finishes. I've tried several different sample clock sources as well as setting up a counter to act as a clock source without any success. I've tried the single sample digital output and that seems to work fine but I would really prefer a hardware timed signal. Any advice?
