I have a NI PCI 6229 DAQ card. It was working fine on Win XP, however i recently installed Win 7. I was unaware that i should intall windows without the card and only insert it after the driver (NI DAQmx 9.7) is properly installed. After this mistake, Win 7 was freezing on the login screem or soon after it. Installing the components in the correct order (Windows 7 - NI DAQmx - DAQ card) did not solved the problem. If i remove the DAQ card, Windows starts normally. I believe that after some time freezed (can be one day or more) the computer reboots and is possible to login without any issues. In this situation the DAQ card is operating normally and i can send and recive analogic signals.Once the computer is shut down, the freezing condition returns. Would you know what is causing this problem?
