Powering an In-Amp with cDaq?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi all,

I'm new to all of this so sorry if this is a silly question. I'm using an ad620 in-amp to acquire some signals. My question is, can I use a constant voltage output from a cDaq to power the in-amp? I'm using an NI 9263 for the voltage output. Any provide would be helpful, thanks!

NI 9263 is not intended to be used as a power supply; please use an external power supply to power your AD620, as the current drive of 9263 is just 1mA.

Thanks for the insight! That's what I had originally had planned, just was trying to save a few bucks on batteries and such.
