Performing a self-calibration on a PXI-6070E board

Hello,
We'd like to do a self-calibration on this board. Anybody have some guidance on how to go about doing this? The PXI chassis has 8176 controller.

Sure appreciate the help,
Hunter

Hello Hunter,

Take a look at the following link to find out how to perform a self-calibration of your E Series board:

http://zone.ni.com/devzone%5Cconceptd.nsf/webmain/294141819729D396862568690070E2A9

I believe that you can also self-calibrate your board by running the E Series Diagnostic Utility found here:

Thank you very much for the link. Funny that it's not under the calibration section.
Anyway, I'm going to try doing a self-calibration through MAX.
Sure appreciate the help,

As a followup for future information, this self-calibration was easily accomplished through MAX (Measurement & Automation Explorer). Simply right click on the device, and select self-calibrate. I would suggest doing a pre- and post-calibration measurement using TEST PANEL in MAX to see the effect on measurements.

Unfortunately, the self-calibration routine does not report the new calibration constants, something that would be helpful.

All the best,
Hunter
