I design a PCB as a signal conditioning unit, where the interface to DAQ system should be exactly the same connector, as mounted in the SCB-68A. I could not figure out the type and manufacturer of it.
I have found a very similar part: 3700-0121-01 by MH connectors, but it has a plastic body and the connector front is slightly different from the one in SCB-68A.
Can anybody tell me the exact part number of the connector?

They are generally known as 68 pin SCSI connectors, often also called SCSI2. The type you mention 3700-0121-01 from MH might be still compatible. I wouldn't sweet it about the plastic body to much. As long as the cable securely connects to the connector, everything should be fine.
Other potential manufacturers are Hirose, or TE Connectivity.
For instance 2-5174225-5 or 2-5174341-5 from TE Connectivity looks quite a lot like what you want. Farnell/Avnet has it on stock. The main difference seems to be the extra retention legs on the second part that solder into the board instead of using M2.5 screws. For prototypes using screws would seem easier.
