We are using a NI USB 6343 DAQ with BNC ports. There are 4 analog outputs (AO0 to AO3) in the DAQ. Recently, I tried to operate all 4 outputs simultaneously in the following manner:
AO0, AO1 and AO3 where programmed to output constant voltage.
AO2 was programmed to output a triangular wave.
I noticed that some of the signal from AO2 was "leaking" into AO3 effectively giving a triangular modulation over a constant background.
Is this to be expected?
Is there a means to isolate the analog outputs from each other while operating them simultaneously?
