PT100 and USB-6221

Hi there!

First of all - I'm a newbee into labview.

I try to connect at PT100 termocouple element using a 4-wire half bridge.
When I'm using the Measurement & automation explorer to create a resistance task and looking at the "Connection diagram" tab in the bottum I can only se 2 wires  used connected to AI0 and AI8 (that is the 1st diff. input)

Where should I connect the other wires?

Hi Morten,

You will need a Fieldpoint, SCXI or SCC solution for your application. It depends on the number of the channles and the speed of your application.
http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/320515f.pdf See 4-19 for SCXI RTD applications.
You can eg. use a PCI-6221 and a SC-2345 with SCC-RTD-1 module for your application.

Please let me know if you need more infomation, or you can just contact your local NI-office for more system solutions.

Thanks!

Thanks for reply. That was also one of my own solution, but I hoped someone could do it without any other devices.

Now I found and old Campbell CR10 datalogger that can do the mesurement for me!
