PCI 6731 fails self test

Hello I have a PCI 6731 card that is failing it's self test on the mesurement and automation explorer.

There's also a FPGA PCIe-7852R card installed that works fine.

Some facts:

- The board is installed with no problems in windows.

- The installed labview versions are 7.1, 8.5 and 2011.

- Labview 2011 is in evaluation license (soon to be purchased) as the FPGA module is only for LabView 2011.

- Though DAQmx is installed, the corresponding DAQmx VIs only appear in LV8.5, and not in LV2011.

Might there be a compatibility issue between DAQmx, LV8.5 and LV2011 making the selftest fail???

Thanks

Hi!

The self test should not be effected by the LabVIEW-Version installed.

However, the DAQmx driver needs to be installed after LabVIEW so that the driver can copy the necessary VIs to the LabVIEW installation folder.

This is most probably the reason why you don't see the VIs in LV2011.

I would recommend to install the latest DAQmx driver version, which is currently 9.4

You can download the driver from this link:

Please be aware that the oldest LabVIEW version supported by this DAQmx version is LabVIEW 8.6, so versions before will not be able to use it anymore.
