PCI-6259 voltage measurement issue

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

This is my first topic on this forum and I had to do this as I'm already desperate with an issue regarding the V measurement.

I'm using the PCI-6259 and I'm trying to measure a voltage between 2 and 9V on Dev1/ai0. I use SCB-68A and the wires are connected at pins 68 (+) and 34 (-). The problem is that after 1-2 minutes of measuring correctly (photo NI MAX1) it start to measure like a square signal (photo NI MAX 2 and 3). After few more minutes it stabilize at  10.6V and it doesn't move even if I disconnect the PS. The only way how i can measure again is by restarting the PC. First I've seen this in labview but also in NI MAX is doing the same. If I move to another channel it's doing the same after some minutes. I did ran a self-test and a self calibration, both ok but made no difference.

What have I done wrong and what exactly is happening?

Thank you!

Found a similar topic and managed to fix the problem by fitting the bias resistors.

This topic can probably be deleted.
