PCI-6230 and riser cable..

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I have a PCI-6230 card. It works OK when plugged directly into computer slot. But if there is a 19 cm long adapter cable between the NI card and PC slot the data acquisition works not.
But self test is still OK. The AI channels shows always 10.6 V.

Is there any hope to fix the adapter cable?

Hi Ilkka,

I'm very sorry but this is a not tested and due to this not supported cable.

So in this case there will be no hope to get it work with our PCI-6230 DAQ Card.

To insure that our devices will work correctly the PCI cards have to be plugged directly into the PCI-Slot on the motherboard without any extension adapter cable in-between.

Kind Regards,
