I've got a PCI-6221 (37-pin) PCI card. Doing closed loop control (might be out of spec's, but it works fine). Whenever (it is reapetable) I do some User interaction (independent of the LV app) such as opening a file, the whole reading screws up. It seems like cross-talk on the PCI bus or other interference inside the PC housing (it is an industrial PC with WinXP). I've some very recent DAQmx drivers installed. I also did switch the card location from next to the GPU over to just have a RS232 serial interface card as neighbour, no effect.
For me this is a show stopper at the moment and I am behind schedule right now (and at customers site). Any code please in LV 7.1 if possible (there should be some new licenses at site around I could use if necessary, but a no-go for the App).
To reproduce: I do countinued aquisition mode with 20 samples per reading at 100kHz and average over those 20 readings (and out of these I even do a U10 -> like median but it is the 10% level/index instead of the 50%). But the signal seems to go somewhere (I try to counter it via closed loop control, so I did not really see yet what happened in first place).
Well, it is really strange as it happens when I open a file, but not when the hard drive is active (tested using defragment disk) or is interfered by any cables outside the PC of Monitor, mouse or keyboard (I pluged them off).
