Hello,
Just a quick question. How do you know what series of the PCI-6120 multifunction data acquisition (DAQ) board is?
Thank you,
Charlie

Hey,
It's an S-Series device, which means "Simultaneous Sampling".
The easiest way to figure that out is to go to the product page of the device at ni.com.

Hey Christian,
Thanks for the response. I was actually trying to identify the series from the actual PCI-6120 card itself. I looked but could not find anything on it that actually indicates what series it is. Do you know of anyway to identify the series from the card itself?
Again Thanks,
Charlie

Hey Charlie,
60xx = E-Series
61xx = S-Series
62xx = M-Series
63xx = X-Series
65xx = Digital I/O
66xx = Counter I/O
67xx = AO Modules
Hope this helps,
Christian

Charlie,
You can get this information pragmatically if you are interested. You can query the DAQmx Device Property Node for the ProductCategory as demonstrated by the attached VI. You can do this in the C API using the DAQmxGetDevProductCategory function.
Hope that helps,
Dan
