PCI-6014 compatability w/ E Series C++ Examples

Hello all,

I have previously worked with E-Series DAQ boards, and found the NI C/C++ examples to be very helpful, since I prefer to write applications in Visual C++ (Note, *Without* Measurement Studio) rather than use LabView. I am currently considering a less expensive PCI-6014 low cost board for an application that doesn't require simultanious sampling, etc. Will these "NI-DAQ Help" examples work with the 6014 card (assuming I stick to analog input/output (one point) and basic digital I/O functions?

Yes, the majority of these examples will work with the Basic Multifunction DAQ devices (NI 601x). E Series devices have certain features that Basic devices do not, so not every example is compatible (for example, Basic devices do not support SCXI), but most are. What about the Basic devices polarity? i.e. How can I set my NI 6014 for 0 V to +10 v?
