Only administrator can acces acquisition board

Hello,

I've got a brand new CVI, NI448.2 and NIDAQ installation on an Windows XP PC. Everything works fine, except that only the administrator is able to acces the acquisition board.
For standard users, the test panel is grayed in MAX, and executing code accessing the DAQ generates an error saying that the driver is not accessible. For administrator, everything works fine. I tried to change some files permissions, with no success.
Does anybody knows how I can solve this problem ?

Thank you

Can the above link be corrected as I need this same information and can not access the link.

I am told I do not have permission to access the link.

I need help as all my users could not access the ni_dmm_32.dll unless we gave them power user permissions under XP.

Thanks,

Scot Hudson

Scot,

Thanks for posting the NI Forums.  I am not sure what the link was intended to be above; however I was able to track down some information that might help.  Take a look at the following KnowledgeBase article:

How Do I Give Non-Administrators Full Control Over National Instrument's Products:

Let me know if this does not fix the problem and I will see if there is something else you might be able to try.  Good luck with your application.  Keep me posted on how it goes.
