But I get this error msg:

**************************************ERROR****************************************************************
Kernel source does not appear to be installed  for the 2.6.13-15-smp kernel.
Installation of the kernel-source  package for  kernel 2.6.13-15-smp is required to continue  this intallation.

I tried to install NIKAL 1.3, but the same error occur.

If anyone know how to solve this tell me.

I discovery how to solve this problem doing:

First go to linux Yast.
Applications--System--Yast (or from the console type /sbin/yast2)
You will be required to login as super user (root).

Then on the left hand side you will see on the top software, and in the right pane you should see a list of options. Depending on your version of linux (9,10,10.1 or greater) you need to click on the one that allows you to 'search'.

In my version: 10.1 i click on: "Software Management"

Then search for kernal, or for 'source'.

You will see on the right side checkboxes.
Check the one that says 'kernal source'.

Click next-->finish (inserting the appropriate cd's, or just that dvd).

But after, i get anoter error msg while installing NIKAL14.iso:

******************************** ERROR ****************************************
* Kernel source in /usr/src/linux does not appear to be
* configured for the 2.6.13-15-smp kernel.
* Configuration of kernel source is required to continue installation.        *
* Refer to the README file for the product you are installing for information *
* about configuring your kernel source.                                       *
******************************** ERROR ****************************************

Now i have a different error.

Alexandre...

It is not guaranteed that DAQmx 8 correctly functions with the SUSE 10,0 and SUSE 10,1, Therefore must be with difficulties. It tries to make the test with another operational system if possible.

Hi alexandrearc-

This is a common problem with Suse distributions and NI software.  I'm not guaranteeing that this will work because your distribution is not officially supported, but the steps in the readme file that the error refers to should be helpful to you.  Check out the "Installation Issues" section here.

Hopefully this helps-
