NI cDAQ with ethernet interface and ethernet switch

Hi,

I'm planning to use NI cDAQ-9189 for my application, I will also be having other instruments with an ethernet interface. Thus I'm planning to use an Ethernet switch to connect all the instruments and control the same using a PC running LabVIEW. (below is simple block diagram of my configuration)

On the same network, I have an instrument that communicates using Profinet.

I would like to know if this configuration would work without any issue and is there anything that I need to take care of.

Hi, 

Does anyone have a response to this question? as I too am in the process of upgrading our data acquisition to Ethernet based from our current USB 2.0 systems which are a faf.
