NI USB driver loses device over long period (1 week) - error -50405

I had been getting the same type error with a USB cDAQ 9172 utilizing a 9481 relay module. The error was very intermittent. I had found that the power supply voltage to the cDAQ 9172 chassis was dropping down to extremely low levels at times. I corrected the issue and this appears to have solved the problem.

just read your post. I also encountered problems with a NISE-100 computer. Same type: fanless and low power consumption.

Problems like windows instability occurs together with USB DAQ-Devices like USB-6008 or USB-6210.

Did you solve yours in the past one and a half years?

No. I solved it by getting a Netbook running Windows 7. Only a slightly higher power consumption and a much better computer.
