NI USB 6255 OEM conflict with USB 3.0 port

Hello,

I am using USB 6255 OEM for data acquisition. In 2012, I was using this device with USB 3.0 port, the data acquisition was slowing down. But, when I used USB 2.0 port, there was no issues. I was using DAQmx 9.4 drivers at that time.

Now I am using the latest drivers i.e DAQmx 9.8 with the same device. I would like to know that there will be no performace issue if I plug the device into USB 3.0 port.

Regards,

Mansoor

The DAQmx drivers don't interact directly with the USB host controllers, but instead rely on the registered drivers for the host controllers. So, upgrading DAQmx will not affect performance, with the exception of those that are DAQmx specific. If you want to see a difference you should look into upgrading your USB 3.0 host controller driver.
