NI USB-6210 - sharing the analog ground?

Solved!
Go to solution

Dear Sirs/Madams,

I'm using NI USB-6210 board and I've four different measurement devices that I need to attach into it. The issue is that I've to measure all these four analog signals in LabView with Referenced Single-End Mode, meaning that I have four different pins to connect into the same analog ground slot.

So, I'd very much appreciate ideas of how to do this. Is there any way to create more analog grounds by software, for example? Or does some simple electrical component exist that I can easily use to share the ground slot for multiple pins without causing interference to the signals?

Thank you very much for your reply already in advance.

Hi Joona,

you cannot create more analog grounds. On other devices, there are several ground pins, but they are all internally connected.

You simply need to connect all of them to the AI GND pin since that is all there is.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
