NI-DAQ 7.4.1 and NI-DAQ/mx parallel at one machine

Hello,

is it possible to install old (NiDaq V.7.4.1) and new (NiDaq/mx) DAQ-drivers and appropriate VI's at one and the same machine in parallel?
The reason of my question is as following:

We have a lot of old LabView-Applications (V6.0.1) running and they using DAQ-Bards with the old driver. Now we have bougt an USB-Device (NI USB-6009) which is dependent on NiDaq/mx. Do we have to migrate all our old applications or is ist possible to use the new DAQ-Device and the old boards at the same machine (not at the same time) in any way?

Yes, you can use traditional DAQ (NI-DAQ 7.4.1) and NI-DAQmx in parallel on the same machine. The only restriction is that, a particular device might only be used by one of the drivers at a time.
