Hi,
I bought a NI 9250 (2 ch, 24 bit, 102.4 ks/s, IEPE) under the assumption that I could use it together with NI 9162 (High speed USB carrier) in the same way as I use NI 9234 and NI 9162 but it seems as if I was wrong. When mounting NI 9250 in NI 9162 the NI 9250 doesn't appear in NI MAX.
Are NI 9250 and NI 9162 not compatible? What device do I need to communicate with NI 9250?
Regards
Pontus

Hi Pontus.
Unfortunately, as you've discovered the USB-9162 is not compatible with the NI-9250, as you can see in the DAQmx README. http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/374768v.html
This is due to the age of the 9162, and it now being a legacy product.
As also stated in the README you can use any NI CompactDAQ to communicate with the module. If you only require 1-Slot I can recommend the cDAQ-9171.
