Thank you

Hi,
With 9237 Dsub you can measure full bridge and half bridge.
In case you want to measure quarter bridge you will have to do the bridge completion yourself or you can use a 9237 with RJ50 and NI 9944 or 9945 details http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/ro/nid/211299

I know it's a old topic, but I'd give it a go.
Hello everyone,
I'm working on a research project that involves tensile tests of Titanium samples.
To measure the strain, I have got a NI DAQ 9172 Board with the NI 9237 Bridg and I use 2 wire 350 Ohm resistance gauge.
I have connected the strain gauge in quarter bridge configuration to the DSUB following the hook up scheme in page 14 of getting started guide NI 9237 (https://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/374186f.pdf).
PC and MAX recognise the board and I see no trivial errors in the configuration, but unfortunately during the test I recorded strains that are way off compared to literature.
Here is the schematic I used to connect the strain gauge to DSUB.
Notes: I used 3 wire to compensate for wire resistance
Strain gauge and dummy resistance are both 350 ohm
Can anyone help?
Thanks
