Hi,
I am a beginner in Labview and DAQ as well. I plan to buy NI 9234 and 1 slot cDAQ NI 9171 in order to work with 4 accelerometers. I know that I cannot use hardware trigger in this type of DAQ. Could anyone can help me whether or not the DAQ can be defined software trigger ?
For my case, I need DAQ will collect the data when sample value larger than 1g and stop to collect when sample value smaller than 1g.

You can use a software trigger with the NI 9234. This forum:
