NI 9230 vs. 9232

Hello Community members,

I am looking at purchasing a few IEPE modules. Looking at 9232 and 9230, only difference I can see is the max sample rate, 9232 is 102.4 kS/s/ch and 9230 is 12.8 kS/s/ch. Most of time I sample at 2048Hz for my test, and occasionally goes to 4000Hz. Based on what I currently use them for, is 9230 just as good as 9232? what else I should take consideration?

Currently I am using 9232, looking at the cost, 9230 is just 1/3 of 9232 cost. Thanks for taking time to read and answer.

Hi Yutao,

Sorry for the late reply. You are correct, the only big difference between these modules is that the 9232 is capable of much higher sampling rates. If you expect to stay well below 12.8 KS/s, then the 9230 should be fine for you.
