Go to Measurement and Automation Explorer and expand My System>Devices and Interfaces. You will detect your PXI 1045 there and under it, you can see a list of modules currently connected and configured to your PXI system with their respective slot numbers. Additionally, you can also visibly detect the slot number. The left-most slot is called the slot1 and is reserved for the PXI controller and the slot number increases as you go towards your right, and a number is printed below every slot.

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

but, as NI-8234 is a ethernet interface card, it is not visible at the place you mentioned.

All other DAQ cards can be seen there.

Thanks
