Don't forget to take into account the ~144Kohm input resistance of the 600x's analog channels.
Or add a unity gain buffer with a high input impedance.

Debashis,
Unfortunatly due to the way that the phone support system works along, the best method for you to get a timly response would be for you to create a service request from ni.com/support and you will be able to get in contact with me or another applications engineer to better assist you! Thanks!

... had the same problem several years ago. We use the USB-6008 and 6009 in different applications in the lab and for commissioning purposes. I used to build input amplifiers with operational amplifiers for every application. Took a lot of time until it worked.
After a while I decided to build a 'final solution', which now became rather final with revision 03.
A small PCB contains an 8xAin and 2xAout precision operational amplifiers with power supply. See more at

We like the 6008/9 interfaces because they are reasonably priced and good for most applications especially for A/D conversion if it is not toooo realtime. Using the preamplifier made software design much easier for not recalculating the measured values and the applications seem to work much more stable. So we use them now in every application. They simply plug in between the terminal connector and the USB-600x interface.

I'm having the same problem with the DAQ6009 when trying to read voltages from strain gages. I was wondering what you would recommend as a replacement DAQ if I chose to go that route. Ultimately the specs I would like to have would include: 2 analog inputs, 2 counter inputs, and 1 digital output. I'd like to ensure that I was reading the correct signal, but have a reasonable price. Do you have any recommendations?

First off, you are commenting on an old thread, it would be better for you to make a new post and reference this one in the future.
Are you looking for another USB device? If you would like to PM me, I can help you pick one out and get you in touch with someone who can write out a quote.
