My DAQ Assistant Express VI missing data terminal

I have a PCI card installed and recognized by MAX. I am trying to use DAQ assistant to display the an analog voltage signal on the front panel, but the DAQ assistant does not give me the option to create an indicator. "Create" does not even appear on the shortcut menu when I right click the DAQ assistant on the block diagram. Can someone help me with this? I am using Labview 7.1 with NI-DAQmx 7.2
