Minimizing NI-DAQ size on disk

Is there any way to trim down the size of NI-DAQ for the core functions
that I am using?

I'm developing an embedded system that uses NT Embedded 4.0. I'd like
to get the OS and driver files into < 40 mb of nv storage
(Disk-On-Chip). I only require a handful of functions from the NI-DAQ
API to run the pci-dio-32hs that is in the system. The damn library
chews up 30mb... a tad excessive. I'd really rather not develop the reg
level code myself.

Any help is appreciated....

I would suggest contacting National Instruments Technical Support at ni.com/ask
for help with this question. Component files have been developed for NI-DAQ
to be used on an embedded NT environment for a few NI boards. The PCI-6533
is one of those boards.

Thanks, will do. Do you mean there is a kdf file for NT embedded component designer?

Yes, we have developed kdf files for Windows NT Embedded.
