Any Mac users out there controlling National Instruments boards with registers level programming?
I have been using Mac NI-DAQ for years and now my users require more control of the I/O boards than NI-DAQ can offer. I'd like to give register level programming try, but I have found very little in the way of tutorials or examples. I need to write a interrupt service routine to manage data collection and NI has no information on this even in the PCI MIO E Series Register-Level Programmer Manual.
It's not clear to me which direction to head: Mini Mite, Device Driver, or NI-PAL. If you have been down the register level programming path yourself, I'd appreciate hearing what materials and examples you used to get started on your projects. Than ks.
