Looking for an overview of the command Strings to control a USB-6008 via VISA

Hello, i want to intregrate the usb 6008 in an existing system with some messurement instrument s controled by VISA over GPIB. So i'm looking for an overview of the string commands to control the usb 6008 via VISA like "AI0?;" or "AO0 5V;"and so on. The way to control it by using DAQmx is to much work to integrate it in the existing files. Thanks for any help, king regards A.Wohlrath

There is no high level VISA api available for the 6008. Even if NI made public the USB RAW infromation, you would find that a lot more difficult to implement than DAQmx. What is so difficult with the DAQ Assistant?

that's boring.

There's no difficulty with the DAQ assitent. But we developed a tool wich handle that command strings like an skript, so we could control the instruments in an flow chart and the usb 6008 is only one more intrument in that mesurement enviroment. If we use the DAQ we had to implement a second software for it and can't include it directly in that enviroment, it is only more work and time.

I have seen the VISA Test panel on MAX and that's the reason wy i ask for the String commands.
