I'm trying to take some 3rd party acquisition code written in C for the NI PCIE 6323 X Series DAQ on Windows and port it to make it run under Linux (CentOS 6.3 == Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3). I have the board installed, and I successfully ran the DAWmx802f0.iso installer, but neither lsdaq nor nilsdev sees any NI hardware attached to my machine. (I rebooted after installing.)
I see the original Windows code used headers and libraries from NI-DAQmx 9.2, but the only Linux version of the software I could find was 8.02. Is it possible to use the NI PCIE 6323 X Series DAQ on Linux? Is it compatible with the NI 8.02 software? If so, how should I go about troubleshooting my system so that lsdaq or nilsdev can see my hardware?
Thanks.

Unfortunately the readme.txt file for the DAQmx 8.0.2 driver seems to indicate that it does not support the PCIe 6323. In addition I looked into the DAQmx Base run-time environment for linux as an option but it also does not support the PCIe-6323.
