Labview8.0 OK, C-examples do not work

Hi,
have just installed nidaqmxbase under linux (slackware 10.2 Kernel 2.6.13),
to use with NI USB-6009.

lsdaq: NI USB-6009: "Dev1" (USB0::0x3923::0x717B::012C3F45::RAW)
nidatalogger: Works fine
---------
I can compile all C examples in the ai directory (no error or warnings using
-Wall), and they run without any error messages.
The problem is that the readout is always 0.00000.
Similar for the ao directory, no output voltage.
(Have not tested the digital part).

Any idea on how to start debuging ?

All the best

Hi ogj,

I hope you are doing well today! We need to start from the base and build up. Do you have another Linux machine lying around? If so, try on there. Do you have another 6009 so you can try getting an output on that? Are you able to read inputs on the device? Also, how are you reading the outputs? Are you using a voltmeter? What version of NI-DAQmx Base are you using? NI-DAQmx Base 2.1.0f0 for Linux software for the Intel x86 architecture requires one of the following distributions: Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS 3, Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS 4, Mandrakelinux 10.1 Official, Mandriva Linux 2006, SUSE Linux 10.0, SUSE Linux 10.1. If you are not able to resolve the initial questions, I won't be able to help you much just because NI-DAQmx Base does not support Slackware's Linux distribution. For more information on system requirements, visit NI-DAQmx Base 2.1 - Linux.
