Is there a way to control the function generator (FGEN BNC) of NI ELVIS II using Labview?

Hello,

I'm new using Labview software, so I'm having some difficulties.

I would like to know if there is any way of controlling the NI ELVIS II Function Generator using Labview.

I'm using the FGEN BNC of ELVIS to supply an eletrodynamic shaker and I  need to measure the generated signal
and the response of the excited structure, so I can estimate a Frequency Response Function.
In order to do this, I need to trigger the input and output signals and that's why I want to control the FGEN

in Labview and not in the interface provided by NI ELVIS II.

I've been searching for similar problems but I couldn't find any.

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks in advance.
