Is it possible to use a wireless USB dongle couple with IN-USB-6009 ?

If it's possible to use a wireless USB dongle couple with IN-USB-6009 we can make a telemetry system with 250 Euro.

Hi Zinnium,

yes my idea is to use batteries and a voltage regulator to supply power to the system.

Maybe I can use I can use the same supply to power sraingauge bridges and precision (measurements) amplifier.....

Take an IPOD or a USB memory stick that has light on it and plug it into it.

If it charges or lights up;  you can do what ever you want.  :smileywink:

Hi all,

I think you should consider this KB. Also be sure that you must use a device that is supported by the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack or the new WIDCOMM stack.

I hope this helps!

Bye!

I must clarify:

1) The connection should be done by a Wireless USB dongle (not a USB hub and not Bluetooth)

2) IN-USB-6009 and Wireless USB dongle should be powered by batteries.

I ordered the Wireless USB dongles and I have a  IN-USB-6009.

In a couple of week I will try........

Good luck on it.

I was actually thinking about it today, and it should work since the USB port on it is capable of writing to a flash drive.    It means it has to be able to provide power to the port to power the flash drive.

My experiance in the past with different items ahs been hit or miss.  Some devices did supply power while other did.

So whats the story???  Did it supply power and work or did you have to do something else?

I connected the Wisair dobgle to NI-USB-6009 and I used an external +5V.

I was able to record max. 20 minute 8 channels at 1kHz per Ch. but at the end the recording stop due to an error (from SignalExpres).

Reducing the sampling rate don't help!!!!

I will try to write my hown acq softer to be able to handle the errror.
