Is NI DAQ 6211 supported by DAQmx 2026Q2 on Linux?

I've installed the DAQmx drivers and hardware configuration utility (2026Q2) on a Ubuntu 24.04 new installation. The installation seemed to work fine. However, when I tried to attach my NI USB 6211 DAQ to the system it was not recognized by the NI Hardware Configuration Utility. I tried to search the NI site for compatibility information but could not find a definitive answer to whether support for the 6211's have been dropped in recent DAQ mx versions. It seems like there is lots of software compatibility info on the NI website, but not so much for hardware. I did find a page (dated 2019) that said that 6211's were supported, but nothing newer than that.

There is a definitive answer from NI at NI Hardware and Software Operating System Compatibility - NI saying USB-6211 is not supported on any Linux distribution.
