Is LabVIEW 6.1 compatible with a PCI-6229 DAQ?

My lab purchased an NI PCI-6229 for its analog-in/out capability and compatibiltiy with LabVIEW.  We currently have LabVIEW 6.1, and after installing NI DAQ 7.3(?)  (drivers are Traditional 7.30f1 and mx 7.30f0) I haven't been able to locate a PCI-6229 driver in the Measurement and Automation Explorer under the traditional DAQ options.  Am I missing something, or is LabVIEW 6.1 not compatible with the PCI-6229 and I have to upgrade to LabVIEW 7.1?

All M-series cards including the pci-6229 requires Daqmx.  They are supported byr Traditional daq.  Daqmx supports only LabVIEW 7.x.

You cannot use the PCI-6229 with LV 6.1.   You have to upgrade to LV 7.1
